Music Machine Lite...

17 Hertz conference room was definitely crackin on a fine Monday night, which we dubbed "Best Monday Ever." The squad was there rehearsing for Soul-Fully Fly, which is this Thursday and while we waited for Keen to make his grand entrance, Cutso and Weezy of the Fingerbangerz blessed us with some cuts and a mix you'd probably hear at Music Machine. We should have just called it Music Machine Lite and charged folks a buck to get in...

please excuse the shitty audio/video quality. I had to use my cell phone since we can't all take random trips to the future and cop sleek looking cams like our dear friend Keen...

BME

Last night the high council wanted to meet up at 17 Hertz for a runthrough of this Thursday's show at Soul-Fully Flyy event. Being that I was mad late, and missed out on what they all told me was "The Best Monday Ever," they hit me with the entrance music as I walked in.

Dirty D of NBA, FreshChuck, Rae, Febrio, Cutso & Weezy of The Fingerbangerz, along with Barber Dee all in the building. Then KNX came in rockin' his NBA 1 of 1 tee.

That's how you ether a crispy-white tee, f'real. Notice the hairy chest, the anchor tat, the belly-chain, and the wings. Well done. It's Summer-Jam-Screen status, I tells ya.

Be A Friend

Make a difference, it'll only take a second of your time.

Add Digga as your friend.

Due to an unfortunate series of events Digga's diggaspace was deleted again. Let's make sure this injustice doesn't go unnoticed. Show your support and help ol'boy get his swaggy back. Thank you.

Sincerely,
The good folks at BMB.

"The Franchise" Clip

From the night where we recorded "The Franchise" and "Funny People" (both up right now at myspace.com/beautifulmusicbaby). All the recordings were meant to be rough vocals, but probably out of convenience, we just ended up running with them.

So I met up in my muthafu*kin jammies, and after some lounging around and trashtalking, I bet the dudes that I could knock the whole thing out in one take. This is the actual audio that we used on "The Franchise" produced and mixed down by FreshChuck:

Probably not the best thing from a technical and musical standpoint. But when it comes to foolish pride-- what could could you do?

Thank You, Come Again

Better late than never right? A while back, Febrio, Chef Boy-R-Dean, and I took a trip to the Kwik-E-Mart in Mountain View. If you haven't peeped it yet, it's a must for Simpsons fanatics. Too bad all the good shit was sold out. Shout out to Ernest for letting me know this shit even existed...

Slappin Poly & Chuck's "California Soul" on the way there...

After getting lost for a bit, we finally find our way...

Gorilla Session II

Real quick, Transformers was the shi*. Now I don't gotta feel left out when everybody else around me is talkin' about it. And also, along with another gorilla session, a few of us met up last night to watch the B-Hop and Winky Wright fight which was garbage. I want a refund on the money I didn't pay for it.

So afterwards we were back at it laying some more material down for our upcoming CD. We're about 10 tracks in, and it should be out and ready to go by mid-August. Did I mention that we're giving this joint out for free? Scream at us.

My photo-game is getting real vicious. Ronnie, watch out.

How would you tell a friend?

I guess I'll be forgiven if I leak a little something out to the world:

"Get It Poppin'" - feat KNX, Keen and Rob Wonderful from the upcoming BMB release.

You're So Vain...

Some of the pictures from "Sweet Vanity" day, from the perspective of Nick's more expensive camera:

I call this one "Evil KNX"

The non-evil Skywalker

Eardrum the aviator.

Nothing like making beats next to heavy machinery.

2Tone calls this one "Blue Steel"

Digga calls this one "Magnum"

All right that's enough (until more pictures surface). Next week we're bringing the expensive cameras out to capture Digga grocery shopping... while looking real gully.

BMB TraxxPad Skin

A lot of people have been wondering how exactly we are involved in TraxxPad. So here are a few screenshots of the BMB skin in the game. Much respect to the Definitive Studios team once again...

A few other skins in the game

If you haven't gotten it yet, stop sleeping. Make beats whenever you want, sample any sound around you at any given moment, convert your finished beat to an MP3 and start writing. Check the reviews and the influx of Traxxpad beats on Youtube if you're still hesitant about it.

And don't forget which skin to use after you cop yours.
