Patron x Steak x Eggs...

First of all, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 gets the thumbs up. But honestly, name a bad pirate movie...

And to the chick that was saving her seat for a friend - looks like she was a no show...

Traxx Pad Video Game

The future is here, baby. Check out this new video game coming out for the PSP (and soon the PS3), that the good folks at bmb had the honor of participating in.

The game is called Traxx Pad. Rae and myself had the honor of visiting their studio to test the game out and it's madness f'real. Check the demo out below. And the intro that you see once the video starts up is the actual intro for the video game.



Other notable names participating are Crooks & Castles, Clyde Carson, URB Magazine, 17 Hertz, Traxamillion etc.

March 23, 2007 - The good folks at bmb chillin at 17 Hertz running through "All For You" (featuring Febrio, Rae and Wonderful) mixing into "Bababa."



And this is a painting our homey's Bryant and Dominic have been working on. Skywalker, NBA, and Hyshine emblems placed around and about with the "beautiful music baby" featured in the center.

Last night we were actually mad deep into a recording session (turned out 4 new joints that should be featured on here real soon, by the way) and while music was being made in one room, they were in another painting this. All in all, it was a very creative environment and it just ended up being one of those nights where everything came out right. Cheers to that.

But anyways, do take a minute and check out some more of Bryant and Dominic's work on their myspace page.

A good timewaster from the good folks at adult swim. It's called 5 Minutes To Kill (Yourself). The title is self-explanatory. Stab yourself with staplers, drink from the office toilet, disguise as a pinata and get beatdown etc.; whatever it takes to make sure you're out of your misery before the 5 minutes is up.

Monsta's Farewell.

It was a good day to be ugly. Around midnight this past Friday everybody met up at Monsta's pad to drink, sing off-key, pass-out, wish him the best, and say good-bye as he gets ready to move to Las Vegas. Here's a few pics from the festivities...

Early December 2006, and on this night we all met up at the 17 hertz conference room to preview a rough cut of "The Lost Songs: Before They Were Pretty" (shameless plug). With too much corona, nothing to do, and the cd been-done listened to, Digga pulled out his mega-pod (no flomo) and we started running through the hundreds of beats FreshChuck laced between the week before this night, and this night. He's a monster. And because we don't like instrumentals staying as just instrumentals, a lovely little session commenced over a beat that we later used for "The Blackout."
